Where is Kyrgyzstan located?

We set off at dawn on June 27th. Our neighbor, brave enough to get up early, took us to the airport before 4 a.m. Our destination was OCH, a city located in southern Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. A rather long journey, as after a stop in Istanbul, we arrived at our destination on Saturday, June 28th at 4 a.m., 24 hours later.
A country where customs checks are simple but long. We unpack and reassemble our bikes in the airport, in front of a crowd of people who look at us curiously. All this before leaving for our first destination, the city of Osh, located 14 km from the airport.
We’re now ready to discover this first country: Kyrgyzstan, a former province of Russia. It gained independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Russian Empire. Kyrgyzstan is located in Central Asia, bordering China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Its capital is Bishkek. It’s a tiny country with 7 million inhabitants. Kyrgyz and Russian are spoken there.
