From July 10th to July 16th, Last week in the city of Fuzhou
For over a week now we have been wondering what to do next on our trip. The weather conditions are difficult for cycling.
Fuzhou tour
While we wait to make our decision, we are visiting the large city of Fuzhou. Like many cities, it is immense and has between 8.5 and 9 million inhabitants.
It’s a fairly modern city with no particular historical attractions.
We took the opportunity to visit the magnificent temple located in the heart of the city, several parks where the water had dried up due to the intense heat and drought, and explore a large shopping mall. You can view the photos taken during our walks around the city.
Not an easy decision to make.
Given the weather forecast and this persistent heat, we don’t want to risk our health. Especially since the slight delay we’ve experienced means the rainy season is also approaching, and we can’t fall back on our Plan B. To escape the heat, we had considered taking transportation to travel more centrally where the temperatures are milder. But unfortunately, there’s much more rain and sometimes landslides in the mountainous areas we would have to cross. So, we’ve decided to postpone the end of our trip until 2026. Nevertheless, we’ll try to share one or more videos summarizing our 3-month trip through Asia.
Did you know : China has 2 million robots, the USA 382,000, and France a few tens of thousands. Each year, China installs 300,000 new robots, the USA 34,000, and France 6,000. Despite having 1.3 billion inhabitants, China has the highest number of robots per capita in the world.
