Ride 2023

Hello to all our readers. At the end of the year we are starting a new trip to South America. A way to end the 2020 trip which was interrupted by the covid 19 pandemic.

Via the Carretera Austral we will try to reach Ushuaia, a city located at the extreme tip of South America. You will be able to follow our progress map almost daily on our blog. We will also try to produce a weekly article to retrace the events of our trip.
After a relatively long plane journey, more than 18 hours, we arrived in Puerto Montt, a Chilean city located on the Pacific coast about 2000km south of Santiago de Chile, the country’s capital. Some of the luggage having been lost during our various flights, we had to wait in Santiago to receive it beforeto continue our journey.

Local information: it is currently spring in Chile, the temperature is quite cool and unfortunately it is raining. Fairly new phenomenon relating to climate change.

Do you now, the currency of the country is the cilian pesos and the official language is spanish
